Viewpoint from the Castle in Trujillo

This viewpoint, unlike the viewpoint to the Plaza Mayor, shows us the extraordinary views of the surroundings of Trujillo, the extensive plains which represent the Llanos de Trujillo.

In addition to the species listed in the viewpoint of the Plaza Mayor, from here it will be very easy to see raptors such as Kites sp. (Milvus sp.) in their daily forays in search of food, as well as White Storks (Ciconia ciconia) and Cattle Egrets (Bubulcus ibis) in the ponds viewable in the distance. When the day is advanced and the sun has warmed there is a good passage for Griffon Vultures (Gyps fulvus) scanning the territory. With patience and luck, sometimes a Black Vulture (Aegypius monachus) can be seen.
